The managing editor of the Sunday Times, Mondli Makhanya, has attacked Freedom Front leader Pieter Mulder over his remarks on South African land ownership. Makhanya entitled his weekly column,  Apartheid denialism drives a knife into belly of black SA and writes that “Mulder’s speech was the crudest form of denialism about South Africa’s evil past”.

In the column, he refers both to the Holocaust Museum in Cape Town and the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, implying that there was some sort of link between the two. He also relates Mulder’s statement that blacks never settled the whole of South Africa to a white man calling a black woman a “kaffir” in a gym.
