Former Springbok midfielder Waylon Murray has signed a two-year contract with the Bulls, the Pretoria-based franchise announced on Tuesday.
“We have just received the clearance, so can now officially announce the signing,” said Bulls high performance manager Xander Janse van Rensburg.
“Waylon is a highly-rated player with heaps of experience, especially at Super Rugby and Currie Cup level. He will add experience to our back division as well as a cool head.”
Clearance was received from Murray’s Super Rugby franchise, the Southern Kings, and the 27-year-old could be considered for selection ahead of Saturday’s Currie Cup opener against Western Province in Cape Town.
His contract runs until October 31, 2015. – Sapa
